Michael Morpurgo est né en 1943, près de Londres.     I would recommend this book for children or young adults I liked the Robinson Crusoe like story, and the plot was evenly paced It was engaging throughout.

    Read this book to my grandchildren who are 8 and 10 and all 3 of us loved the book It teaches some good lessons on being self reliant and also being empathetic to others.

    My friend recommended this novel as a good children s novel and it was quite a good adventure story Though the bombing on Nagasaki part made me think a lot as a Korean, the overall story was well put together.

    I love all the books by Michael Morpurgo I read a lot of mysteries and courtroom dramas and I pick a book by this author to lift me up War Horse was a favorite of mine I am going to order An Elephant In The Garden soon, I recommend his books to all my grandchildren.
