Once again National Geographic does not disappoint Being an anglophile, I am always interested in new books about British history, geography and literature This atlas follows British history from the time of Stonehenge to the present The maps and photography are fabulous It is helpful to me when I am watching a DVD set in the UK to refresh my knowledge of the period of history being presented It is also packed with historical maps relating to all eras of British history in case you are interested in the Roman invasion, the Tudor era, or the Victorian age I loved reading and looking at all the captions 5 stars
